Dear Colleagues,

this week, the 2018 Impact Factors for Springer Journals has been released.

Fortunately, the 2018 IF for Empirica- Journal of European Economics has further increased to 0.836 from 0.706 (2017).  This means a further steady improvement since the first ranking in 2013 (IF 0.160).

As Managing Editor I am happy about the good performance of Empirica which is not at least the merit of your active participation in submitting and reviewing papers to (of) our journal. Of course, there is still room for improvement until our journal ranks at the top of the Springer list.
