FSR Climate invites proposals for paper presentation at its Annual Conference on 30 November - 1 December 2017

 

 

FSR Climate is accepting proposals for contribution to its Annual Conference on the Economic Assessment of European Climate Policies to take place in Florence on 30 November - 1 December 2017.

The conference will include three plenary sessions on Energy efficiencyRenewable policies and Environmental taxation and a special session on the EU ETS.

Each of the first three sessions will feature an invited speaker:

  • Energy efficiencyAndreas Löschel (University of Münster and Centre of Applied Economic Research Münster, Germany)
  • Renewable policiesCarolyn Fisher (Resources for the Future, USA)
  • Environmental taxationCameron Hepburn (University of Oxford and London School of Economics, UK).

The EU ETS session will be part of an event organised within the EU-funded project LIFE SIDE, where policy makers and stakeholders will discuss past and future developments of the system. During the session, the results of an economic assessment of the EU ETS, carried out within the project, will be presented.

The conference keynote speech will be delivered by Lucas Bretschger (ETH Zürich, Switzerland).

Deadline for paper submission: 24 September 2017.
