2^nd ATHEA PhD Workshop

„Health Economics and Health Policy in and from Austria“

Vienna, February 23^rd and 24^th 2023

The Austrian Health Economics Association (ATHEA) is pleased to announce the 2nd ATHEA PhD Workshop, which will take place on February 23rd and 24th 2023. ATHEA invites all interested PhD candidates from Austrian universities and research institutions to present their PhD project on health economics and policy.

Procedure:

The workshop is planned to comprise five PhD project presentations, either in their early stages or more advanced. Each project will be discussed by an invited co-presenter and the other workshop participants. This is meant to provide PhD students with expert feedback regardless of the current phase of their PhD theses.

Abstract submissions:

• EXTENDED TO January 8, 2023
• via e-mail to athea@athea.at
• subject: „Submission ATHEA PhD-Workshop 2023”

· e-mail should include following information: title and abstract (approx. 500 words) of the presentation, (planned) completion date of the full paper and name of the supervisor

· indicate the planned status of the PhD project at the beginning of February: either full-paper, paper draft or PhD concept

Notification abstract acceptance:

· January 20, 2023 (due to extended deadline for abstract submission)

Submission of full-paper/paper draft/PhD concept for the preparation of the discussant:

· February 5, 2023

· Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS), Josefstädter Straße 39, 1080 Vienna, Austria

Workshop language:

· English, German (depending on PhD student and discussant)

Participation fee:

· 95€

· The workshop will take place as part of the ATHEA conference. The workshop participants have access to the conference.
