Calls Environmental Protection and Sustainability Forum | Climate Economics Spring School

The Karl-Franzens University Graz, Austria, is pleased to announce, both, the
Environmental Protection and Sustainability Forum, taking place in Graz, Austria, from
April 7-9, 2020 and
the immediately pre-running Spring School on Climate Economics
for PhD students and early PostDocs, from April 4 (arrival) to April 6, 2020
at the Castle Seggau, in Styria, Austria.
The Environmental Protection and Sustainability Forum is a 3-day international forum dealing with international and global environmental problems, including for instance climate change and biodiversity and the link between trade and the environment. It involves facilitated debates, interactive discussions and top level knowledge exchange in an intimate atmosphere. It will cover 10 keynote lectures, a public lecture and around 40-60 contributed papers. Keynote speakers will be:
The Spring School covers important topics in climate change economics. It will take place over two days (5-6 April, 2020, arrival 4 April) with morning and afternoon sessions taught by the following speakers:
“The Dynamics of Climate Change Negotiations: Modeling the Paris Agreement”
“Insights from Experimental Economics for Climate Change Negotiations”
Economic Evaluation of Climate Change Damages
International Environmental Agreements: Heterogeneity, Optimal Transfers, Technical Innovation, Adaptation and Stock Pollutants

For the Environmental Protection and Sustainability Forum the deadline for abstract submission is 15th November, 2019. Abstracts should be one to two A4 pages, including authors, co-authors and affiliation. Please indicate who will present the paper.
For the Spring School the deadline for application is 15th November, 2019. Please send a short cover letter (motivation) and CV. Reference letters by supervisors are appreciated but not compulsory for consideration.
