Dear all,

For your information there are various traineeship opportunities at the ECB that are published at different points in time. Our business area has just published a vacancy on the ECB website for students that have completed at least two years of Ph.D.

This might be of interest to students from your university. In case you want to advertise it further, this would be highly welcome

Given the limited number of positions, the number of applicants may be high and the positions very competitive. However the application process is quite straightforward. We have a preference that interested students prepare a project proposal of one page max, even they would not necessarily be asked to work on that topic. They should take note of the deadline for applying, which is the 15th of December.  Contracts are typically set initially for 3 months with (potential) extensions up to 1 year.

Please note that we also plan to have a similar campaign next year (without the 2 years Ph. D requirement).

Kind regards,
Isabella Moder
