Attached please find the call for papers for the Workshop „Macroeconomic policy in the Eurozone”, which will take place at the Vienna University of Economics and Business on November 26^th, 2018.

The workshop is jointly organized by the Department of Economics of the Vienna University of Economics and Business and Agenda Austria and aims to gather local and international academics, students and researchers interested in the topic of macroeconomic policy in the Eurozone. Prof. Isabel Schnabel (University of Bonn) will be the keynote speaker of the workshop.

Theoretical and empirical papers in the following areas (or related subjects) are welcome:

– Fiscal policy in the European Union / Eurozone

– Monetary policy issues: zero-lower bound, Eurobonds

– Proposals for reforming the European Stability Mechanism

– Economic and political consequences of the debt crisis. Consequences of Brexit. Italexit approaching?
