We have the pleasure of inviting you to the
Conference on European Economic Integration (CEEI) 2020, which will be hosted as a
virtual event via Webex on
November 5 and 6, 2020.
This year’s conference will focus on
“CESEE in the COVID-19 crisis – the role of the EU and global spillovers.”
The considerable economic disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has shown that no economy is immune to regional or international spillovers.
The economies of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (CESEE) are no exception, not least because of their deep global integration. But how can the CESEE region become more resilient to such painful shocks, expand its policy space and benefit from EU integration
effects to support recovery?
In pursuit of answers, the Oesterreichische Nationalbank, in cooperation with Bruegel, will bring together high-ranking representatives
from central banks, international organizations and academia for two afternoons of insightful presentations and thought-provoking discussions.
