The Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies (SCEUS) invites applications from interested students who will contribute with their PhD projects to the topic “Challenges
of European Integration”. We invite applicants with research interests in
(1) political science, (2) law, or (3) economics and willing to engage and cooperate with the other disciplines.
Owing to its excellent faculty/researcher ratio, SCEUS provides a superb research environment. Doctoral students benefit from an international, multidisciplinary, and cooperative environment
and enjoy close contact with and regular supervision from PLUS professors and visiting scholars.
Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a
gross monthly salary of approx. € 2,458.00 (14 x per year) according to § 26 in conjunction with § 49 of the Collective Agreement for the Austrian Universities. The position covers
30 hours/week and is exempted from teaching. The candidate will spend
one semester at a foreign university or research institution that offers expertise and specialised training in their field.
