The Vienna School of International Studies (Diplomatische Akademie Wien) is proposing the appointment of a Postdoctoral Fellow in International Studies (Economics) for two years, from 25 September 2023.
The successful candidate must hold – or have evidence of the imminent completion of – a doctorate in Economics. We seek candidates working in all areas of empirical macroeconomics, including but not limited to monetary policy and central banking, international economics and international finance, text mining, growth econometrics and developing economics as well as environmental economics. Excellent knowledge of econometrics, strong coding skills (preferably in the software R) as well as previous teaching experience are required. Previously taught courses in introductions to quantitative methods are an asset.
