Following the announcement of this year’s laureate, we are pleased to cordially invite you to the award ceremony of the Oskar Morgenstern Medal 2025 hosted by the Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics (University of Vienna).
This year’s Oskar Morgenstern Medal honors Prof. Phanish Puranam (INSEAD) for his pioneering contributions to organization science. His work combines analytical rigor with real-world impact, shaping how we understand and design organizations in an increasingly complex, interconnected, and technology-driven world.
In particular, Prof. Puranam’s research explores how decision-making architectures can be improved and how artificial intelligence can be integrated into organizations in a way that fosters collaboration, innovation, and human-centeredness.
The award highlights the importance of rethinking the future of organizations – a theme that Prof. Puranam will address in his public lecture “Designing Organizations in the Age of Algorithms”.
