For your information there are various traineeship opportunities at the European Central Bank that are published at different points in time (apologies for cross-posting). Our business area, the Directorate General International and European Relations, has recently published a vacancy on the ECB website for students that have completed at least two years of PhD:

This might be of interest to students from your university. In case you want to advertise it, this would be highly welcome. 

 

Given the limited number of positions, the number of applicants may be high and the positions very competitive. However the application process is quite straightforward. We encourage interested students to submit a project proposal of one page max, which is however not binding as selected students might be asked to work on other relevant topics of interest for the Directorate General. They should take note of the deadline for applying is the 10th of December.  Contracts are typically set initially for 3 months with (potential) extensions up to 1 year.
