Axel van Trotsenburg, Senior Managing Director of the World Bank Group, will visit WU and give a talk on
Development in a time of crises: investing in a better future?
for interested students (advanced Bachelor, Master and PhD).
Axel van Trotsenburg directs the World Bank’s core development work and ensures its integration into operations, with a special focus on climate change, fragility, human capital, and debt sustainability issues. The talk
will take place in seminar room D4.0.039 (ground floor, D4 building in the WU Campus) on
June 19 from 12:30 to 13:30. Please register by email at econ-events@wu.ac.at by Wednesday June 14 and feel free to
pass the information to potentially interested students. The number of participants in the event is limited.
