Dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to funding opportunities and a research prize, offered by the Diligentia Foundation for Empirical Research.

The Diligentia Foundation, established in 2015, promotes research in the social sciences, in particular economics and related disciplines. For more information regarding the foundation’s activities, please visit the website: https://www.stiftung-diligentia.org/en/

We are glad to share with you the following announcements for 2019:

(a) The Diligentia Prize for Empirical Research is a newly established prize for research in experimental and empirical research in economics and the social sciences. The prize is worth €5,000 and is awarded for an outstanding publication from researchers who work at a European university. Please see the attached Call. Also, note the deadline of May 1st for submissions.

(b) The Call for Project Proposals aims to fund innovative projects in empirical and experimental economics and the social sciences, for an amount of up to €50,000. In 2019, the call for project proposals is open to researchers employed by Austrian, German, or Swiss universities. Please see the attached file and note the deadline of March 1st, which is soon approaching.

For any enquiries regarding project proposals or applications for the Diligentia Prize, feel free to contact me (loukas.balafoutas@uibk.ac.at) or Matthias Sutter (matthias.sutter@coll.mpg.de).
