Professor Dr. Edgardo Buscaglia is presently a Senior Scholar in Law and Economics at Columbia University (USA), the Director of the International Law & Economics of Development Center and a Visiting Professor at the National University of Buenos Aires -Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires- & Universidad Nacional del Sur (Argentina). Dr. Edgardo Buscaglia also has a vast field experience since 1991 in providing public policy advice to governments and civil societies in 114 countries focused on counteracting/preventing complex economic transnational crimes in, for example, Afghanistan, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico, Nigeria, Russia, Ukraine and Yemen.
Prof. Dr. Edgardo Buscaglia's published peer-reviewed articles since 1991 focused on the "law & economics of development" and specifically within the economic and legal analysis of judicial reforms to counteract transnational organized crime and private / public sector corruption.
