3^rd ATHEA PhD Workshop

„Health Economics and Health Policy in and from Austria“

The Austrian Health Economics Association (ATHEA) is pleased to announce the 3^rd ATHEA PhD Workshop, scheduled for March 6, 2025. ATHEA invites all interested PhD candidates from Austrian universities and research institutions to present their PhD (working) papers on health economics and policy.

Workshop format:

The workshop will feature up to four PhD paper presentations, ranging from early stage to more advanced research. An invited senior health economist will act as a discussant, and other participants will provide feedback on the presented paper.

Abstract submission guidelines:

• Deadline: November 22, 2024
• Submission: via e-mail to phd-ws@athea.at
• Subject line: „Submission ATHEA PhD Workshop 2025”

· Details to include: title and abstract (approx. 500 words), potential co-author(s), and the name(s) of the PhD supervisor(s)

Important dates:

· Notification of acceptance: January 13, 2023

· Submission of full paper (draft): February 9, 2025 (to be sent via e-mail to phd-ws@athea.at for discussant preparation)
