Dear colleagues,

the Department of International Economics at Vienna School of International Studies aka Diplomatische Akademie Wien cordially invites you to submit papers to join the first “Economic Diplomacy” workshop that is organized by the Academy in cooperation with Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy and Dankook University.

The workshop will take place on October 24-25, 2024 at Diplomatische Akademie Wien, Favoritenstrasse 15A, 1040 Wien.

We look for contributions on

• economic sanctions and trade policies
• the role of economic diplomats in advancing national economic interests abroad
• the use of foreign aid and its implications for national and international development
• the role of sovereign wealth funds in influencing international investment trends
• other aspects of economic statecraft in bilateral and multilateral relationships
