Dear All, I would like to kindly remind you of the CfP of the 12th Young Economists Conference 2023 on Funding the Welfare State and Social Infrastructure. The conference is open to early stage researchers from all disciplines, especially economics, political science or sociology. It will take place in Linz (Austria) on October 6th and 7th. The YEC 2023 is free of charge and presenting participants will be reimbursed for train travel cost within Austria and may apply for accommodation subsidies. A restricted number of travel stipends for selected researchers from the Global South will be generously offered by the INET Young Scholars Initiative. An outstanding contribution will be awarded the Eduard März Prize of €1,000. We especially encourage female and LGBTIQ* contributors as well as researchers of color to present at the conference. Submission of abstracts (max. 1 page) is open until July 10th and should be send to yec@akwien.at<mailto:yec@akwien.at>. Participants will be notified of acceptance by August 2023, the deadline for the submission of (working) papers is September 1, 2022. Looking forward to an interesting conference in Linz!
