STIGLITZ Treasurer: Professor Erik BERGLÖF Secretary General: Professor Omar LICANDRO THE 18 th WORLD CONGRESS OF THE INTERNATIONAL ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION (IEA) Dear Colleague, As President of the International Economic Association (IEA) and Program Chair of the Eighteenth World Congress of the IEA, we invite you to submit a paper to the contributed sessions of this triennial congress, jointly organized with the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, CIDE, that will be held in Santa Fe, Mexico City from June 19 to June 23, 2017. The 2017 IEA World Congress will be a unique academic event which, in addition to the daily keynote lectures, numerous policy sessions and the many invited sessions, will host the latest and most engaging research in Any Field in economics in the many contributed sessions. The Congress will provide an excellent forum to present one's own research results. The Eighteenth World Congress will be held in Santa Fe, Mexico City. Santa Fe is Mexico City's fastest growing commercial and residential area in recent years. Fully connected to the main areas of the city, with superb access roads, such as Puerta Santa Fe, this area offers top-quality services and a broad array of stores, hotels, restaurants and hospitals that make it a state-of- the-art corporate, residential and commercial zone. Santa Fe stands just 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) from historic downtown Mexico City. It is a good idea to stay for an extra few days after the Congress to get to know historic Mexico.
