Ladies and Gentlemen, please find attached the Call for Papers for the 2017 WIFO - Regional Economics Workshop in cooperation with the Gesellschaft für Regionalforschung (GfR) Summer Conference in Regional Science. The joint International Summer Conference takes place in Vienna on September 25th and 26th. The main focus is on topics around digitalization, settlement patterns and urbanization. Additionally, empirical contributions on other topics in regional economics are also welcome. Abstracts of papers (minimum of 300 words) and/or full papers intended for presentation should be prepared in PDF-format and be sent to regional@wifo.ac.at<mailto:regional@wifo.ac.at> by July 28th.
