At the School of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, the University of Graz is seeking to appoint a Professor of Investments and Capital Market Research (40 hours per week; selection procedure in accordance with Section 98 of the Universities Act (UG); permanent employment according to the Austrian Law on Salaried Employment (AngG); expected starting date October 1st 2025) The School of Business, Economics and Social Sciences fosters a collaborative research environment to constantly increase the school's visibility and reputation as a leading institution for academic research and teaching in the fields of business, economics and social sciences. The holder of this professorship is expected to contribute to the school's success with ongoing excellence in research, promotion of early-stage researchers and commitment to teaching. The successful candidate's research will focus on Investments and Capital Markets and apply a quantitative data-driven research approach. Teaching is expected in English and German at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels in the field of Investments and Capital Markets. We also expect gender mainstreaming skills.
