Call for Papers - Austrian Labor Economics Workshop 2024
Dear members of the NOeG-list, please find attached the Call for Papers of the eighth labor market economics workshop. Call for Papers Austrian Labor Economics Workshop 2024 When? Friday, November 8, 2024 Where? IHS - Institut für Höhere Studien - Hörsaal 1080 Wien, Josefstädter Straße 39 The eighth labor market economics workshop will take place at the IHS in Vienna. The aim is to expand the forum for discussing current research work with colleagues in the field of labor market economics. We want to bring together a broad spectrum of empirical and theoretical approaches from researchers. The focus is on topics related to labor markets, social policy, income distribution, migration, education, health, or gender economics. The workshop provides space for an open and collegial discussion and welcomes preliminary or controversial research. Please send a copy of your completed paper or an extended abstract per email to lmsp@ihs.ac.at<mailto:lmsp@ihs.ac.at>. The deadline for submissions is September 30, 2024. The selection of contributions by the organizers will be completed in mid-October 2024, and the final program will be published by the end of October 2024. We are planning presentations of 20 minutes per paper, plus some time for discussion. The exact number of presentation slots and the time frame will be determined by the organizers. Registration for presenting and non-presenting participants will be open starting mid-October 2024. Detailed instructions will be announced later. We are looking forward to welcoming you in November!
