http://slovakecon.sk/noegsea2016/index.html [http://slovakecon.sk/noegsea2016/img/noeg.png][http://slovakecon.sk/noegsea2016/img/sea.png] Call for Papers Joint Annual Meeting of the Austrian Economic Association and the Slovak Economic Association (NOeG-SEA 2016) in cooperation with the University of Economics in Bratislava Bratislava, May 27–28, 2016 The organizers of the joint meeting of the Slovak Economic Association (SEA) and the Austrian Economic Association (NOeG) are soliciting papers for the 2016 conference, to be held at the University of Economics, Bratislava, Slovakia, May 27–28, 2016. The main theme of the conference will be “Economic Policy in a Dynamic Environment”. However, all fields from economic research are welcome. Keynote speakers: Martin Hellwig Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Good and Bonn University Klaus F. Zimmermann Harvard University and Global Labor Organization (GLO) Submission Procedure and Publication in Proceedings: Please submit a first version of your paper in pdf-format by March 1, 2016 in our online conference system<https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=noegsea2016>. Decisions about acceptance will be issued by April 1, 2016. The NOeG-SEA meeting will be held in English. Authors interested in submitting their paper to the proceedings of the conference (in Empirica – Journal of European Economics) should indicate this during the submission process. We are also happy to consider proposals for complete sessions devoted to specific topics. Special Award for Young Economists: The Austrian Economic Association offers a prize of EUR 750 for outstanding papers of economists of age 35 or less. In case of joint papers, all co-authors have to fulfil this condition. Papers in all areas of economics are eligible. The papers have to be presented at the NOeG-SEA 2016 meeting. Authors who wish to be considered for the Special Award for Young Economists must indicate this in the submission process. The registration fee of EUR 50 will be waived for members of the Austrian Economic Association (NOeG) and members of the Slovak Economic Association (SEA). Passive Participation: You are more than welcome to attend the conference as a non-presenting participant. In this case you can still take part in our scientific and social program, without presenting your own research. However, the number of non-presenting participants is limited, so please contact the organizers for your registration.
