Sehr geehrte Studierende,
am Montag, 30. November 2015, geht der neue WU-Katalog online.
Das bisher unter dem Namen primo@wu angebotene Suchsystem wurde vollständig überarbeitet, ausgebaut und mit einem übersichtlicheren Design versehen. Es wird nach diesem Relaunch zum neuen
WU-Katalog und ersetzt primo@wu sowie den alten WU-Onlinekatalog. Der neue WU-Katalog bietet komfortablen Zugriff auf die gedruckten und elektronischen Bestände der Bibliothek, des Sprachlernzentrums und auf die Publikationsplattform ePubWU.
Darüber hinaus ist ein fachübergreifender Megaindex mit Volltextartikeln und weiteren Literaturhinweisen enthalten.
Das System ist sehr intuitiv in der Nutzung, es wird aber auch eine ausführliche Hilfe zur Verfügung stehen, um alle Funktionalitäten optimal einsetzen zu können. Selbstverständlich werden sich die gedruckten Informationsmaterialien der
Bibliothek sowie die Online Tutorials ab diesem Zeitpunkt alle auf den neuen WU-Katalog beziehen.
In der Bibliotheksinformation stehen wir Ihnen zu allen Fragen rund ums Recherchieren und somit ganz besonders zum WU-Katalog gerne zur Verfügung!

Dear students,
WU’s new library catalog goes online on
Monday, November 30, 2015.
The search engine previously known as primo@wu has been completely restructured, expanded, and improved. After the re-launch, it will be called simply the
WU Catalog and will replace both primo@wu and the old online catalog. The new WU Catalog offers convenient access to the library’s print and digital collections, the collection of the Language Resource Center, and the online publication platform ePubWU.
It also has a multidisciplinary mega-index with full text articles and further literature references.
The system is intuitive to use, but also offers a comprehensive help feature to make sure users can take maximal advantage of its wide range of features. By the time the new catalog goes online, all of the library’s printed
information materials and online tutorials will be updated to refer to the new WU Catalog.
The Library Information team will be happy to answer any general questions
about searching for literature and special questions about the WU Catalog!
