von Freitag, 28.07.2017 bis Sonntag, 20.08.2017 steigt die WU-Bibliothek auf ein neues Bibliothekssystem um.

Was Sie vor dem Systemumstieg beachten sollten und was danach neu ist

· Vor dem Systemumstieg

Ihre persönliche Entlehnhistorie in Ihrem Bibliothekskonto wird nicht in das neue System übernommen. Eine Anleitung, wie Sie die Daten selbst sichern können, finden Sie auf unserer Webseite.

Letzter Möglicher Zeitpunkt zur Sicherung der Daten ist Mittwoch, 26.07.2017.

Aktive Entlehnungen, Vormerkungen und als Favoriten gespeicherte Medien werden selbstverständlich in das neue System übernommen.

· Nach dem Systemumstieg

Aus datenschutzrechtlichen Gründen wird im neuen System Liste Ihrer bisherigen Entlehnungen nicht mehr gespeichert. Drei Monate, nachdem Sie ein Buch zurückgegeben haben, wird es aus der Entlehnhistorie entfernt. Sie sollten daher regelmäßig die Entlehnhistorie sichern.

Dear students,

The WU University Library will change to a new library system in the period from Friday, July 28, 2017 to Sunday, August 20, 2017

What do you need to know about the new system and what will change for you?

· Before the transition

Your personal borrowing history in your library account will not be transferred to the new system. For instructions on backing up your data yourself, please see our website.

The deadline for backing up your data is Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

Active loans, holds placed on media, media saved as favorites, saved search queries, and alerts will be transferred to the new system.

· After the transition

For data protection reasons, the new system will no longer save lists of media you have previously borrowed. Three months after returning the media, the item will be deleted from your borrowing history, so it’s important to save your borrowing history on a regular basis.
