Liebe Studierende,

*** English Version ***

Dear students,

The focus of the Student Counselling Program in the second half of the semester is emotional self-management. When we are attuned to emotional compass, we can use that energy for instance for creative problem solving and constructive and effective actions. Emotions also allow us to clearly sense where our boundaries are and when we should say No. That doesn't sound so bad, does it? The question is: how to learn that?

In May, you have the opportunity to participate in online talks and face-to-face workshops in German and English on the topic of emotional self-management and explore both theory and practice with us.

Before we share our May schedule with you, here are a few questions as an invitation for self-reflection:

·       How good is my emotional self-management?
(0= quasi non-existent, 10=black belt in emo mgmt).

·       In what situation do I get upset the quickest?

·       What kind of mood am I in when learning and organizing my (student) life comes easily?
