die recherchier_bar ist bis Anfang September in Sommerpause, aber ihr seid mit euren Fragen trotzdem nicht allein! Hier ist eine Übersicht über unsere Beratungsservices im Sommer:

Bibliotheksinformation: Für Tipps und Rat rund um Recherche und Literaturverwaltung stehen wir euch zu den gewohnten Zeiten an der Bibliotheksinformation zur Verfügung.
Rechercheberatung: Ihr schreibt eine Arbeit und braucht eine tiefergehende Beratung? Schreibt uns eine Mail mit eurem Thema an rechercheservice@wu.ac.at für eine individuelle Rechercheberatung - vor Ort oder online!
Fit4Research: Natürlich steht auch Fit4Research jederzeit für euch bereit. Hier findet ihr rund um die Uhr Infos zu verschiedensten Themen: die perfekte Suchstrategie, Zitieren, Schreiben eigener Arbeiten, KI-Tools… Ganz entspannt zum Nachlesen!

Wichtig: Vergesst nicht auf die Bib-Schließzeiten im Sommer! Das Bibliothekszentrum (LC) ist von 28. Juli bis 10. August geschlossen, danach schließt die Bibliothek Recht (D3) für eine Woche von 11. August bis 15. August.

Keine Sorge, die Online-Ressourcen der WU Bibliothek stehen euch jederzeit und überall zur Verfügung, auch während den Schließzeiten oder auf Reisen. Ihr könnt rund um die Uhr auf E-Books, Journal-Artikel und Datenbanken zugreifen - alles, was ihr dafür braucht, ist die VPN-Verbindung zum WU Netzwerk.

the search_bar may be on summer break until the start of September, but you’re not alone with your questions! Here’s an overview of the library’s consultation services available during the summer:

Library Information: For tips and advice on your literature search and reference management, we’re available at the library information desk during the usual hours.
Research Consultation: You’re working on a seminar paper or your thesis and need more in-depth guidance? Just send us an email with your topic at rechercheservice@wu.ac.at for a personalized research consultation - either in person or online!
Fit4Research: Of course, Fit4Research is always available to you. Here, you can find information on many different topics whenever you need it: finding literature, citing correctly, writing your own papers, using AI tools… feel free to browse at your own pace!

Note: Don’t forget about the summer closing time! The Library Center (LC) will be closed from July 28 to August 10, and then the Law Library (D3) will close for a week from August 11 to August 15.

Don’t worry, the WU Library’s online resources are available to you anytime and anywhere, even during closing time or while you’re traveling. You can access eBooks, journal articles, and databases around the clock - all you need is an active VPN connection to the WU network.
