Liebe Studierende!
Not macht ja bekanntlich erfinderisch.
Peer Up!

Dear students,
Necessity is the mother of invention, as the saying goes. Maybe this proverb also applies to some of the experiences you’ve made during the last few weeks, which have
brought so many changes for all of us. We’re sure that getting used to the demands of distance learning hasn’t been easy, on top of all the other challenges the current situation has brought about.
We have come up with something new, too – a new service to provide you with some additional guidance in the current semester, despite all the restrictions we’re currently
facing: We’d like to invite you to participate in our new Online
Round Table sessions, which will be starting in May.
Peer up! Everyone’s experience is valuable
This new format in our Student
Counselling Program offers you the opportunity to ask and discuss questions on different key topics, exchange ideas and lessons learned with your peers, and, at the same time, benefit from the expertise of our counsellors. Networking is the primary
goal of this service, because sharing experiences with others benefits everyone.
What topics will be on the table?
Depending on how great the interest of our English-speaking students is, we will add further dates and topics.
The session starts at 5:00 pm and is moderated by a STC counsellor. The sessions are designed to allow you to get as much valuable input as possible as quickly as
possible to help you deal with the challenges of your everyday life as a student. To sign up, simply click on the date above.
Of course, we’re also available for individual counselling sessions via
MS Teams / Skype. Please drop us a short email if
you would like to make an appointment.
We have also put together some helpful tips and information for
you. These materials are available for download on our Counselling@home page.
We’re looking forward to seeing you online soon!
