Liebe Studierende, am Donnerstag, 13. Juni 2019 findet am Campus das große WU Sommerfest statt. Das Fest beginnt um 15.00 Uhr mit dem Kinderprogramm, WU Food Court und mit einem musikalischen Warm-up durch den KroneHit-DJ. Die Verleihung der WU-Awards findet um 16.00 Uhr statt. Um 18.00 Uhr erfolgt die offizielle Eröffnung. Lehrräume und Selbststudienzonen Um 18.00 Uhr werden die Lehrräume im Teaching Center sowie jene in den Departmentgebäuden geschlossen, in welchen keine Lehrveranstaltungen stattfinden. Zum Lernen stehen ihnen, wie gewohnt, sämtliche Selbststudienzonen und Projekträume zu Verfügung. Bibliothek Das Bibliothekszentrum schließt am 13. Juni ebenfalls um 18.00 Uhr. Als Ersatz bietet die Bibliothek an den beiden darauf folgenden Sonntagen verlängerte Öffnungszeiten an: Sonntag, 16.06.2019 von 09.00 bis 20.00 Uhr (regulär bis 18.00 Uhr) Sonntag, 23.06.2019 von 09.00 bis 20.00 Uhr (regulär bis 18.00 Uhr) PC-Räume Die PC-Räume im Teaching Center sowie in den Departmentgebäuden werden am 13. Juni um 18.00 Uhr geschlossen. Die PC-Räume im Untergeschoss des Library & Learning Centers werden bis 21.30 Uhr zur Verfügung stehen. An den darauffolgenden Tagen gelten die üblichen Öffnungszeiten. The Celebration will start at 3:00 pm with the kids' activities, the WU Food Court and a musical warm up by KroneHit-DJ. The WU Awards ceremony will take place at 4:00 pm. The official opening will be at 6:00 pm. Classrooms and independent study areas All classrooms in the Teaching Center and the Department buildings will be closed at 6:00 pm, unless they are occupied by courses. For studying, students may use the independent study areas and project rooms, as usual. Library On June 13, the Central Library will also close at 6:00 pm. In compensation, the library will offer extended opening hours on the following Sundays: Sunday, June 16, 2019 - 09:00 am to 08:00 pm Sunday, June 23, 2019 - 09:00 am to 08:00 pm PC labs On June 13, the PC labs in the Teaching Center and the Department buildings will also close at 6:00 pm. The PC labs in the LC building on level -1 will be open until 9:30 pm. On the days following the WU Summer Celebration, regular opening hours apply.
