(Novara ist nur 45 min von Malpensa entfernt, und somit gut und günstig zu erreichen!) glg Martin Zagler Dear all, We are pleased to invite you to attend the 34th Annual Conference of the Italian Association of Labour Economists to be hosted by the Department of Business & Economics (DiSEI) of the Università del Piemonte Orientale (Novara), on the 12th-13th September 2019. The programme includes invited lectures and parallel sessions. There will be a session co-organized with the Asociación Española de Economía del Trabajo (AEET), a session co-organized with the Global Labor Organization (GLO), and a session co-organized with the Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation (CC-ME) of the European Commission Joint Research Centre. A special session will be devoted to papers from the VISITINPS project. The CALL FOR PAPERS is here attached and it is also dowloadable at the address http://www.aiel.it/page/archive.php, where you can also download the file IMPORTANT DEADLINES, which includes detailed instructions for on-line submission. Contributors are invited to submit their papers in .pdf format *no later than 16th June 2019. *Participants must register and upload their paper in the system using the submission tool in the user panel at the address http://www.aiel.it (see the instructions included in the file IMPORTANT DEADLINES). *Please make sure that you also send a copy of the paper by mail to Lia Ambrosio at: aiel@aiel.it <aiel@aiel.it>.* Papers submitted must be in a full draft version. Notice of acceptance will be given by *7th July 2019*. All papers presented at the 34th AIEL Conference will be considered for the award of the *Tarantelli Prize*. The winner(s) will be announced during next year conference. A special award – the *Carlo Dell’Aringa Young Labour Economists Award *– will be assigned (together with a monetary prize of 500 euros) to the best paper presented at the conference by young researchers. To be eligible for the award, all the authors of the paper must be no more than five years after their Ph.D. defence.
