The main objective of the conference is to provide a platform for economists working in the field of 'International Economics' in Austria and its neighbouring countries to present recent research as well as to discuss current policy. Recent working papers from both young researchers - i.e. Ph.D. students, post-graduate students, young faculty members etc. - and established senior researchers will be presented during parallel sessions focusing on one topic of 'International Economics'. The workshop will feature Peter K. Schott (Yale) and Jaume Ventura (CREI) as keynote speakers. To be considered for inclusion on the program, papers must be submitted in PDF format to Alejandro Cunat (alejandro.cunat@univie.ac.at<mailto:alejandro.cunat@univie.ac.at>) by Friday, February 14th 2020. Authors chosen to present papers at the conference will be notified in late February. The organizers are particularly keen on receiving submissions from young scholars, including Ph.D. students and researchers who have just completed their Ph.Ds.
