Liebe Studierende, am kommenden Wochenende präsentiert das WU Orchester anlässlich seines 25 jährigen Bestehens seine beiden Festkonzerte im Forum des LC. In den vergangenen 25 Jahren hat sich das Orchester zu einem hervorragenden Klangkörper entwickelt, weshalb wir uns auf zwei hochkarätige Aufführungen der 9. Symphonie von Ludwig van Beethoven freuen können. Mit der Jugendchorakademie Wien, dem Chor Neue Wiener Stimmen und Solisten der Wiener Staats- und Volksoper erwartet uns ein kulturelles Highlight am Campus WU. Die beiden Konzerte werden in Zusammenarbeit mit der Musikuniversität Wien auch für eine CD mitgeschnitten. Bei Interesse finden Sie im beigefügten Flyer alle Informationen zu den Konzerten. Durch Aufbauarbeiten, Proben und die Konzerte wird es am kommenden Wochenende (27.-29. April 2018) zu folgenden Zeiten zu Einschränkungen in der Nutzung und einer erhöhten Geräuschkulisse im LC kommen: Freitag, 27. April: 20.30 Uhr bis 22.30 Uhr - Generalprobe Samstag, 28. Das Team der WU Studieninformation ________________________________ Dear students, On occasion of its 25-year anniversary, the WU Orchestra will perform two gala concerts in the LC Forum this coming weekend. Over the last 25 years, the WU Orchestra has built a reputation as an excellent ensemble. We can look forward to two outstanding performances of Ludwig van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. This cultural highlight on Campus WU will also feature the Youth Choir Academy Vienna, the Neue Wiener Stimmen choir, and soloists from the Vienna State Opera and the Volksoper. In cooperation with the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna, the two concert performances will also be recorded for a CD project.
