The Freiburg Institute for Basic Income Studies (FRIBIS) at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg is seeking to fill the following position as of 1 September 2023, or by agreement. PhD research position (m/f/d) The position will be limited to 2.5 years initially. You are welcome to apply early and several months before graduating. Project Description: The position is part of a research project analysing the distributional and welfare effects of CO2 taxes and the reimbursement through a partial universal basic income. Here, micro-simulation models are used to analyze the interaction between direct and indirect taxation.
