Its implementation intended to provide a clear impetus for the removal of existing obstacles to the free movement of services, the freedom of establishment of services providers and for administrative simplification. The project quantifies the Directive's effects on Austrian and EU services trade and welfare but also highlights untapped potentials due to remaining administrative barriers and existing weaknesses in the implementation and enforcement of the Single Market rules. The estimation relies on a structural gravity model estimated on a disaggregated industry level. Save the Date - Präsentation aktueller FIW-Studien zu Unternehmerischer Verantwortung am 30.08.2022, 11:00 bis 12:30 Uhr das Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Wirtschaft hat im vergangen Jahr drei Studien zum Thema Unternehmerische Verantwortung bzw. Lieferkettenverantwortung in Auftrag gegeben. Diese Studien werden am 30.08.2022 von 11:00 bis 12:30 Uhr im Rahmen einer Online-Veranstaltung präsentiert und diskutiert. Save the Date - Presentation of current FIW studies on corporate responsibility on 30.08.2022, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Last year, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs commissioned three studies on the topic of corporate responsibility and supply chain responsibility. These studies will be presented and discussed at an online event on Aug. 30, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The study titles are (contractor in parentheses): - Supply chain responsibility in Austria: overview of different regulatory projects on corporate due diligence in a human rights context (FHWien of WKW). - Doing Well by Doing Good: Responsible Entrepreneurship as a Competitive Advantage of Austrian Companies (WIFO). - The role of modern technologies, especially blockchain, in supply chain responsibility (ABC Research). Following the study presentations, the study authors will be available to answer questions from participants.
