Liebe Studierende,
im Dezember 2023 haben wir euch wieder eingeladen, bis zu zwei WU-Lehrende, die aus eurer Sicht besonders engagiert und motivierend lehren, für den Preis für Exzellente Lehre vorzuschlagen. Dieser zeichnet Lehrende aus, die außergewöhnliches Engagement an den Tag legen und Lernprozesse dadurch bestmöglich unterstützen.
Nach Ende der Nominierungsfrist kann festgestellt werden, dass sich das hohe Engagement der WU-Lehrenden nicht nur in der Anzahl eurer Nominierungen, sondern insbesondere in euren wertschätzenden Begründungen widerspiegelt. Heuer haben 1872 Studierende 2557 Nominierungen abgegeben und dabei 586 Lehrende nominiert.
Wir möchten uns herzlich für euer Interesse und die großartige Beteiligung am Nominierungsprozess der Exzellenten Lehre bedanken!
In der nächsten Phase des Auswahlprozesses werden die Nominierungen an die Jury übergeben, die über die Vergabe des Preises entscheidet. Wir sind schon sehr gespannt, wen wir euch im Frühjahr als Preisträger*innen der Exzellenten Lehre 2024 vorstellen dürfen.

Dear students,
Last December, you were again invited to nominate up to two teachers for the Excellent Teaching Award. The award honours teachers who demonstrate exceptional commitment and thus support learning processes in the best possible way.
After the end of the nomination period, it can be stated that the high level of commitment of WU teachers is not only reflected in the number of your nominations, but especially in your appreciative justifications. This year, 1872 students submitted 2557 nominations and nominated 586 teachers.
We sincerely thank you for taking an active interest in the Excellent Teaching Award and for participating in the nomination process!
The selection process now continues with the next phase: a jury of experts will discuss the nominations and will then select the awardees.
