Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, an der Universität für Bodenkultur Wien (BOKU) ist ab 1. Jänner 2017 eine Professur für „Agrarmarketing und Innovationsmanagement natürlicher Ressourcen“ am Department für Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften zu besetzen. In der Forschung umfasst der Aufgabenbereich der Professur wissenschaftliche Analysen im Bereich des Agrarmarketings, der agrarischen Märkte, sowie des Innovationsmanagements natürlicher Ressourcen. In der Lehre sind gemeinsam mit dem wissenschaftlichen Personal des Instituts in den Bachelorstudienprogrammen Grundlagen im Bereich des Marketings, des Agrarmarketings und Innovationsmanagements natürlicher Ressourcen, sowie ausgewählte Teildisziplinen des Fachgebiets in den Master- und Doktoratsstudien zu vertreten. Dear Sir / Madame, We would like to kindly remind you of the International Seminar of the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research: "Workplace Innovation as a Form of Social Innovation in the Workplace", presented by Peter Oeij, Senior Research Scientist at TNO, The Netherlands Organisation of Applied Research. Date: Tuesday, 12 July 2016, 16:30 - 18:00 Location: Seminar Room at the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research, Berggasse 17, 1090 Vienna Research among 51 companies across Europe dealt with the question if and how work organisations develop and implement workplace innovation (WPI). WPI is innovation by applying human talents and organisational renewal. The purpose of WPI is to enhance not only productivity and performance, but also the quality of work of employees. This session will discuss the findings of the study, and the implications it may have for other work organisations. In the (interactive) discussion it seeks to link with the broader notion of social innovation: what is ‘social’ about WPI and in what way does it address ‘social issues’ ?
